Buswell Scholars Series 2021-2022 - Mr. Steven Park, Ph.D. In-Person
2022 is the 250th anniversary of the burning of HMS Gaspee, a British customs schooner. This incident was a critical juncture in the lead-up to the American Revolutionary War. Join us to hear Mr. Steven Park, Ph.D. share from his book The Burning of His Majesty's Schooner Gaspee: An Attack on Crown Rule before the American Revolution.
Refreshments will be available. Attendance is limited and registration is required.
The Buswell Scholars Series is intended to encourage intellectual inquiry and facilitate an exchange of ideas among the faculty and students of Wheaton College. The series promotes scholarly partnerships and community on the Wheaton College campus.
