The Wheaton College Torah Program In-Person
Come see the Sefer! Join an interdisciplinary panel of Wheaton Faculty as they introduce the Wheaton College Torah Scroll. This program will explore different facets of the Wheaton Torah Scroll and illustrate its significance as a historical document, as a sacred text, as a liturgical object, and as a piece of material culture. Program speakers include Rabbi Steven Bob, Rabbi Andrea Cosnowsky, Dr. Richard Gibson, Dr. Michael Graves, and Dr. Alexander Massad.
The generous gift of Randy and Sandy Wilcox, the Wheaton Torah Scroll is now housed in the Ark at Congregation Etz Chaim in Lombard.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Wheaton Archives & Special Collections at 630.752.5910 or archives@wheaton.edu
