Foundations Student Success Series In-Person

Join us the first Wednesday of every month for food, friends, and key tools for college success! Each session will begin with a presentation focused on a specific academic skill.

October 1: Note-taking for Deep Learning

Taking effective notes is more than just writing things down. It’s about capturing ideas in a way that helps you engage deeply with course material, retain key concepts, and recall them later.

Join Dr. Ray Phinney, Associate Professor of Psychology, as he shares practical strategies for note-taking that will help you organize information, strengthen comprehension, and maximize your learning.
