Foundations Student Success Series: Reading in the Disciplines In-Person
Join us the first Wednesday of every month for food, friends, and key tools for college success! Each session will begin with a presentation focused on a specific academic skill.
Reading in the Disciplines: Different Approaches for Different Courses
Academic texts can be hard to understand, especially when reading in a new discipline. Join our faculty panel, including Dr. Tamara Townsend, Dr. Sara Vroom Fick, and Dr. Brian Hunt, as they share strategies for reading scholarly sources in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.
Chick-fil-A will be served!!

- 5:30 PM: Presentation
- 6:00 PM : Dinner
- 6:30 - 7 PM: Writing center consultants, library research help, and academic peer mentors are available for questions or to help set up appointments
