Foundations: A Student Success Series In-Person
Join us the first Wednesday of every month for food, friends, and key tools for college success!
Each session will begin with a presentation focused on a specific academic skill followed by dinner and time to connect with the Writing Center, the library, or peer academic mentors.
Wednesday, February 1: Motivation to Persist
Do you stuggle with procrastination or avoiding tasks? Avoiding work is tempting, but it does not reduce stress. Learn tips and strategies from LAS and the Counseling Center to avoid avoidance!
Chick-fil-A will be served!!
Schedule:
- 5:30 PM: Presentation
- 6:00 PM : Dinner
- 6:30 - 7 PM: Writing center consultants, library research help, and academic peer mentors are available for questions or to help set up appointments
